Summer is slowly approaching, even though in writing moment it doesn’t quite feel like it. It is bank holiday weekend though, and at ProDanceLeeds we are taking a small break to let you all have a well-earned lie-in tomorrow morning. We think you deserve it! Class will be up and running again on Tuesday, with the eminent Jo Fong.
You might have noticed that these occasional blog posts have moved over to the ‘Friends’ section of the website, and that there are also now more voices than just that of myself, expressing thoughts around dancing and what is going on in Leeds generally, and at ProDanceLeeds particularly. We are trying to create an online hang out space for dancers in Leeds in addition to the IRL hang out space that comes in the form of daily class. We are still figuring out what this can mean, but the Friends section of the website is the starting point. Do you have something dance related that you want to share your thoughts on? Please get in touch and we’ll post it on this blog! We are also looking for people who want to promote the classes by writing a short ‘review’ on occasional Mondays. If this is something you are interested in, get in touch and we’ll reward you with a FREE CLASS!!
We love new friends, so do become a friend of ProDanceLeeds: most of you probably know that although the classes that we put on are £4 each, you can buy a Friends Card which is only £30 for ten classes – a pretty good discount of £10 in total. We are now adding some more perks to this card – discounted studio space at Dance Studio Leeds anda partnership with Yoga Hero, as well as special price performances at Yorkshire Dance and Riley Theatre. If you haven’t heard about it, read more here.
Ok folks, have a lovely continued bank holiday weekend, and I’ll see you all soon!
